IBBUL MANAGEMENT PAYS SALLAH HOMAGE ON CHANCELLOR

The Management team of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida  University, Lapai led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abu  Kasim Adamu, has paid a Sallah homage on the Chancellor of the University,Alhaji (Dr)Umar Farouq Bahago, at his palace.
Professor Adamu was accompanied by   Principal and other Senior Officers of the University congratulated the Chancellor for successfully observing the Ramadan fast as well as the Eid el Fitr celebration.
He prayed for continued peace in the Emirate, the State and the country at large,  and wished the Chancellor continued success in his resign as Emir.
He briefed the Chancellor of recent developments in the University which include, among others, his assumption of office as Vice Chancellor, the redeployment of former DVC Academic to DVC Administration and the appointment of Dr. Mohammed Aliyu Paiko as DVC Academic  and the appointment of Dr Muhammad Bello Aliyu as Director, Academic Planning, as well as the appointment of Architect Nabala Danlami as Acting Director Works.
In his remarks, the Chancellor congratulated the Vice Chancellor on his assumption of office and the other new appointees.
The Chancellor who is the Emir of Minna, prayed Allah to bless the Management team and guide it to a successful tenure to the glory of the University, the state and and the country as a whole.
He urged all stakeholders in the IBBU project to continue to support the Institution so that it will continue to record more success as a growing citadel of learning.
The Chancellor recalled a few of the giant achievements of the University, including milestone research activities both within and outside the count.
He maintained that Professor Kasim is familiar with the terrain and the development of the University and asserts than his tenure should improve manifold the University’s giant strides.
He assured the Vice Chancellor that his Emirate was always available for consultation, counsel and needed advise.
Highlight of the visit was the  traditional Kola gift handed over to the Vice Chancellor by the Emir.
