The First Bank of Nigeria, Plc has reassured the Management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai of its readiness to deepen the existing harmonious and business working relationship between the two organisations for the accelerated development of the Institution.

This was made known when some officials of the bank, led by Minna Area Manager, Mrs. Ummi Ndaliman paid a courtesy call on the Management of the University.

She expressed satisfaction with the level of working relationship between IBB University and First Bank Plc, but stated that there are other areas of mutual benefits that the two organisations could further strengthen to bolster the partnership.

Mrs. Ndaliman also disclosed that efforts would be intensified by the First Bank to make its presence practically felt in the University in no distant time.

The Area Manager pledged that the bank would work in liaison with the Management of IBBUL Microfinance Bank with a view to enhancing its online operations and general service delivery.

She further assured that easy-access bank facilities would be rolled out for the staff of the University to improve their welfare.

Mrs. Ndaliman thanked the Management for according the team a kind reception.

Receiving the officials of the Bank in his Office, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abu Kasim Adamu reiterated the Management’s determination to continue to partner with viable organisations that are ready to support the developmental drive of the University.

He underscored the need for the Management of First Bank to initiate Corporate Social Responsibility projects in the University in order to make its presence felt.

The Vice-Chancellor enjoined the officials from Minna Area Office of the Bank to always see IBB University as one of its strongest partners in progress and assured of continued patronage.

There were comments and contributions by other Principal Officers of the University during the event.

In his vote of thanks, the Registrar of the University, Alhaji Musa Ango Abdullahi expressed appreciation for the courtesy visit by the First Bank.

He urged the Management of the Bank to initiate projects that would strengthen the existing relationship with the University.

The climax of the courtesy visit was a presentation of souvenir to the officials of the Bank by the Vice-Chancellor.
