Niger State College of Agriculture, Mokwa has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai on teaching, research and community development services.

Speaking while signing the documents, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Nasir Maiturare disclosed that IBB University was very conscious of fundamental roles agriculture plays in the development of every nation, hence its determination to explore every opportunity towards facilitating the development of agricultural programmes.

Professor Maiturare explained that the MoU would also cover staff training and exchange programme, mounting of Postgraduate Diploma programmes in Crop Science and Production as well as Farm Management.

In his remarks, the Provost, College of Agriculture, Mokwa, Dr. Aliyu Muhammad expressed optimism for a fruitful collaboration with the signing of MoU with IBB University, Lapai that would impact positively on the agricultural fortunes of the state and country at large.

The Registrar, Alhaji Musa Ango Abdullahi appreciated the Faculty of Agriculture of the University for initiating laudable partnership and collaboration with reputable Institutions.

He also thanked the Management of College of Agriculture, Mokwa for identifying with IBB University.

The Chief Executives of the two Institutions exchanged documents of the signed MoU which marked the climax of the occasion.
