The Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai through CASTER attended the Raw Materials Exposition in Lagos 14th – 16th March 2017 at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island Lagos. At the Expo the University exhibited some mineral raw materials collected and analyzed by the Department of Geology of IBBU over the years and equally exhibit printed reports on the Smokeless Coal Fuel project, the Cashew Juice project and the Biogas project for exhibition at the Expo. Same was applicable at the Science, Technology and Innovation Expo in Abuja 3rd-7th April 2017. The innovations in the respective projects have been submitted to the National Office to Technological Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) for patent acquisition. The following IBBU staff participated in the Expos: Dr. Mohd Aliyu Paiko (DAP), Prof. Nuhu Obaje (Geology/CASTER), Dr. Naomi Dadi-Mamud (Biology/CASTER), Dr. Vincent Balogu (Microbiology), Mr. Theophilus Ikegwu (Food Science), Mr. Umar Mohammed (Geology), Mr. Toochukwu Ozoji (Geology), Mrs Fatima B. Dantoro (CASTER Secretary).
