Philosophy

The philosophy underlying the studies of Transport Management is to produce a crop of graduates equipped with appropriate knowledge and skill to make their contribution to the development of Nigeria, Africa and the World particularly in the various fields of transport studies and reduce to the barest minimum problems of efficient accessibility to resources. 

Mission

To provide opportunities for prospective transport professionals through the acquisition of specialized training in transport planning and policy, transport technology and infrastructure, transport management and operations as well as logistics and supply chain. 

Vision

To deliver on all fronts of research and learning with the view of turning out well-grounded transport professionals, adept with requisite skills to perform efficiently in all transport environments.

Admission Entry Requirements

UTME Candidates intending to study B.Sc. Transport Management must have obtained credit pass at not more than two sittings in five (5) subjects at the O’ level/Senior Secondary Certificate (WAEC, NECO, GCE) which must include English Language, Mathematics, Geography, Economics and any other social science, or arts, science subject. Candidates must take at UTME, English Language, Mathematics and any other two subjects from Geography, Economics, Commerce, Government or any science subjects .Candidate must take and pass at acceptable level in the university’s screening entrance test. Direct Entry In addition to the requirements stated in (a) above, Candidates must have passed appropriate two social science subjects or related subjects in the G.C.E `A` Level/IJMBE. Candidates with OND, HND and NCE in relevant discipline with at least Upper Credit from approved Polytechnics/Institutions would be considered.
