IBBUL UNVEILS ‘IBBUL BITE’ BREAD CENTRE TO PROMOTE INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai has taken another bold step in driving innovation and entrepreneurship with the official launch of its new bread Centre, “IBBUL Bite” .

The bakery, produced and marketed under the supervision of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED), is set to provide the University community and Lapai residents with sweet, fresh, and hygienically prepared bread every day.

Head of Production, Musa Jibrin, described the initiative as a milestone in IBBUL’s quest to combine academic excellence with practical skills for self-reliance.

According to him, “’IBBUL Bite’ is more than a bakery; it is a Centre of creativity, skill acquisition, and quality service delivery. The goal is to produce bread that is not only tasty but also nutritious, affordable, and consistent in quality.”

He emphasized that the bakery will also serve as a training hub for students, equipping them with entrepreneurial and vocational skills that would make them self-sufficient after graduation.

Jibrin encouraged shoppers and students alike to patronize ‘IBBUL Bite’, where “every loaf tells the story of freshness, quality, and innovation.”

He added that with its catchy slogan “Sweet and Fresh Every Day”, the bread Centre is already drawing attention for its unique taste, affordability, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
