With the complexity of today’s business world, as well as competitive pressure and shortened time frame in which many of modern optimization decisions must be made, the need of the decision makers to have every possible tools in the decision-making process has never been more apparent. Ours is to groom the future decision makers to develop such tools that will aid them in taking decisions in the area of optimizing societal material being given this stack reality
To achieve all these, the department seeks to provide sound and qualitative education on the students of Economics at first degree, Bachelor, Masters, and Doctoral levels
It is the Department’s utmost priority to be among the best Departments not only within Nigeria or Africa, but in the whole wide world, in terms of qualitative and quantitative (good standard) academic programme.
