Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai has commenced the 2025 promotion assessment exercise for its senior non-teaching staff.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Hadi Sulaiman, who was represented by the Registrar, Alhaji Idris Sale Kusherki, declared the exercise open at the e-Library of Abubakar Gimba Library Complex.
Alhaji Kusherki described the exercise as a demonstration of the University’s commitment to merit-based advancement and staff development.
He noted that the promotion process is aimed at recognizing hard work, professionalism, and dedication to duty among the Institution’s workforces.
“The University remains committed to fairness, transparency, and excellence in staff assessment and promotion.
This exercise is a vital platform for staff to demonstrate competence and readiness for higher responsibilities,” the Registrar said.
According to him, the assessment covers staff on CONTISS levels 9 to 14, while applicants on CONTISS 14 will participate in an oral interview to determine their competence for the rank.
